Paris Briggs's jumper cut Glenville's advantage down to two. While Fairmont State struggled from three shooting 33.3%from beyond the arc, the Falcons in the final stretch of the first half made two. Throughout the first half of today's quarterfinal contest, both squads locked into a defensive battle. While the Pioneers grabbed 15 offensive rebounds Glenville was only able to score 15 second chance points.
